Where has the time gone?!

I cannot believe it has been a whole month since I've posted anything to our blog!! I'm sure you are all waiting for me to post...sitting on the edge of your seats wondering what new exciting thing I'll post next so I apologize for my delay! I have had the thought a few times that I need to sit and post but never got to it. SO, I'll try and give you a quick update:

Josh is currently getting close to "showtime" for the school musical. Funny story about him being in it is that he didn't even audition for it! In fact, they were a couple of weeks into rehearsals when the director approached him and asked him if he'd like to be in it! It's "The Man of La Mancha" and he's in the chorus but it's still pretty cool that they came to him!! The show runs March 3rd - 7th so it's coming up quickly! He just returned today from a ski trip with the church youth group. He had a great time on that. This weekend he and I are going to drive to Michigan for him to take a look at a college he's been accepted to there - Cornerstone University. He seems to really like it but I decided he shouldn't make any decisions until he's actually been there! He's also been accepted to Cedarville University in Ohio. So, definitely some decisions to be making! Oh, and a couple of weekends ago he and his science bowl team went to the state competition and came in 3rd out of about twenty something schools. He felt pretty good about especially since he was the Captain and in his words "Our best guy wasn't here because he was sick and the other teams that got first and second had some freaks (translation freakishly smart people) on their teams!"

Ian is doing well. He's been enjoying swimming lessons, continues with piano lessons and just wrapped up his hockey season on Saturday with a double header! Their team didn't do very well but he had a great time and we definitely saw some improvement in his abilities! We are looking at signing him up for a 3 week "half-ice" league that runs in March so he'll still be able to get some ice time! School is going well and we've enjoyed learning all about world history and he's coming along with his math and seems to really enjoy science.

Ellie is growing so much! Last weekend she ran a fever the whole time and we thought she might be teething but we were looking for a tooth next to her other top tooth and didn't see anything. Finally on Monday I decided to really take a look in her mouth and was amazed to find 3 molars had come in!! She doesn't even have all the rest of her teeth but she got her molars!! It does look like there are two other top teeth trying to make their way in and she's definitely not been herself today - lack of appetite and VERY clingy! So, we shall see! She says a lot of words and has become so animated! She loves to read books and have a tea party!

Brian and I continue to stay busy, too. His job keeps him busy and my Stampin' Up! (R) business has picked up in the last month so I'm very thankful for that!

Well, that should bring you up to speed! I'll see if I have any recent pictures to post with this! Oh, and please know I love feedback so leaving comments is acceptable!!
