We have had a fun halloween just being able to hang out with friends while enjoying some festivities. Last year I wanted Ellie to be a ladybug but couldn't find one here that I wanted in time, so this year I was a little more proactive about it and found her not one but TWO ladybug outfits. She was able to wear both of them. One was a little more suited for warmer climates so she was able to wear it to the trick-or-treating that the medical clinic puts on here. Ian had a tough time deciding what to be this year. Everything he kept deciding on they didn't have in his size (even on-line) and there were a couple of things I just didn't want him to be. Finally one day after trying two stores for costumes he finally says, "What if I just dress up as a hockey player?" I said, "That would be great!" So, that's what he was this year. Here's a picture of him and Ellie at the clinic yesterday. Ian's not smiling because he said you couldn't see through his helmet!

For Ellie this was the first year she really was aware of what to do and she really enjoyed carrying around her bag of candy! Well, it wouldn't be halloween without a costume for the dog, right?! So, here's Bella in her pumpkin costume. She did really well having it on she just kept pulling my arm off wanting to go! What a little ball of energy!! But, a cute one, though!
