Josh's Award

Yesterday, we attended a lunceon for Josh. We got word a few weeks ago that Josh received 3rd place in a poster contest for the Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services and we were invited to attend for free this lunceon at which he would receive his award. He received a plaque of appreciation and accomplishment as well as $100 from the state. One of his friends from school and his graphics class won 1st place (there were three divisions: junior high, high school and college). So, we were able to sit with his friend and her mom plus one of the other award winners and her mom and teacher. I'm including a picture of Josh's poster that won 3rd place as well as some pictures from the luncheon. It was in the tallest building downtown in a nice "club" on the 22nd floor so we had a great view! We went outside to the balcony to get a couple of pictures and boy was it windy as you can tell by my hair!! We're very proud of Josh!
